Trans Serrano are based in Góis about 13 km southwest of Arganil, they offer a variety of adventure sports some of which are weekend packages. Canoeing is organised down the Alva, Douro, Mondego, Tejo and Zêzere rivers. Events can be multi-activity and include abseiling and aerial slides, bridge making, canyonning, kayaking and various forms of climbing. Hiking, cycling, bird watching, flora interpretation are available for those less adventurous. Off-roading, orienteering, target shooting and paintball are also catered for and bicycles and motor-bikes can be hired. Cultural event packages include ethnographic, historical and gastronomic programmes.
