The Sacred Art Museum (D. Manuel Mendes da Conceição Santos Museu) is found in the church of the ancient Convent of the Holy Cross (Antigo Convento de Santa Cruz). The entrance is in Rua Florbela Espança. The collection comprises treasures gathered from different churches in the region. There are various sections devoted to all aspects of religious art such as, jewellery, painting, sculpture and furniture. There is also an exhibition of liturgical garments with valuable specimens from the 16th and 17th centuries.
