Built for Expo 1998, this is one of the world’s largest aquariums. There are about 25,000 different species of fish, seabirds and mammals in the complex, which was designed by the American Peter Chermeyeff. The Global Ocean Tank has a capacity of 4 million litres and can be viewed from many levels. Encircling the aquarium are four separated towers, each of which recreates a costal habitat and gives the impression of all the exhibits swimming in the same space. A unique experience for the whole family.
