The Terco Church, dedicated in 1775, has the full name of the Igreja da Venerável Irmandade de Nossa Senhora do Terço e Trindade. The Brotherhood of Our Blessed Lady of the Chaplet and of Charity, to whom it belongs, was founded in 1762. The feature of the carved granite façade is the elaborately decorated surround to the windows over the portal. The altarpiece is by José Teixeira Guimarães and has 16th century images of St. John the Evangelist and also of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception, which came from the former Lóios Convent. The charity hospital has been operating since 1781.
