On the boundary of Ericeiria and stretching more than 500 metres to the south of a large hotel, Sul Beach has a promenade at each end, where you can find a range of bars and restaurants specialising in traditional fish and shellfish dishes. Popular and sheltered, the beach has a seawater pool attracting many bathers. Lifeguards are on duty in season and conditions are suitable for surfing and body boarding. The beach has EEC blue flag stratus and the average summer seawater temperature is 17-18ºC. Umbrellas can be hired, parking is available and there are facilities for the disabled.
