São Pedro de Miragaia Church is notable for its internal gilt and polychromatic wood carvings. It was subject to extensive rebuilding and architectural changes in the 18th and 19th centuries. The Baroque façade has a double storey and slightly recessed bell tower on the right and the balance of the elevation divided into three by continuous columns. The façade is covered in late 19th century blue and white tiling. Amongst the many internal features, is a valuable Flemish triptych depicting the Pentecost, which came from the former Holy Ghost Chapel.
