The peaceful village of São Lourenço is superbly located above an attractive bay. The village is filled with pretty white houses and is very animated in summer. The village slopes are divided by small rough stone walls, in cascade, that shield the vineyards. All of these features combine to produce a spectacular site and one of the most wanted summer getaways. Of the many vineyards along the coastline, this is where the well-appreciated São Lourenço wine is cultivated and bottled.
