Located just northeast of Mondim de Basto and overlooking the ancient town from a height of 900 metres, the Senhora da Graça Sanctuary was one of the first Carmelite sanctuaries to be built in the Trás-os-Montes region. Rebuilt in granite in 1755, it has a bell tower and three chapels and houses a valuable collection of statues and paintings. The pilgrimage day is the first Sunday in September and the locality area of Terras de Basto is rich in tradition. This is a fabulous viewpoint.
