If you have visited the Fado Museum you will want to experience an evening at a genuine and respected Fado club. The Senhor Vinho is one such place. Owned by one of the country’s top performers, Maria da Fé, it also features some of the up and coming stars. It is located in the Lapa district near to the Basilica da Estrela, the food and the wine list are both first class, but do remember that Fado evenings can last all night.
