The Reserva Natural das Lagoas de Santo André e da Sancha lies close to the sea and is an excellent place for windsurfing. In addition to its wealth of fish, a large variety of water birds are also to be found. Those with a love for beautiful places can rest at will in this peaceful spot. Nearby restaurants offer the local delicacies of fish or eel stews which, of themselves, are form part of marvellous gastronomic holidays. The Santo André Lagoon is bounded by beaches, kilometres long, with fine white sands, which are a delight to stroll along. The actual park area measures 5.274 ha.
