If the red flags are out, signifying that bathing is dangerous, pay a visit to the beautiful Santa Marta Park adjacent to the church of the same name. There you will find something to suit all tastes, whether this is reading under some shady trees, walking the esplanade or sport for the more energetic. The park has tennis courts, crazy golf, a gymnasium, skating and football facilities and a children’s playground. Too energetic; then there is a 250 seat restaurant and a coffee bar on the esplanade.
