San Lorenzo is considered by those in the know as a gem amongst Portuguese courses. An 18-hole course, San Lorenzo nestles amidst pine-trees, lakes and beaches. Forming part of the Parque Natural da Ria Formosa, the course is a very challenging and imaginative one. Golf World magazine declared it to be one of the five best golf courses in Europe and it was voted the best course in Portugal the European Golf magazine. Inaugurated in 1988 and designed by architect Joseph Lee, this par 72 course is 6,238 metres. Facilities include: Driving Range, Clubs hire, Buggies, Trolleys, Individual and Group lessons.
