Named after the nearby Clock tower, Relógio Beach has strong waves and regularly stages surfing, sailing and power boat events. Its spacious sands provide room and ideal facilities for a range of sporting activities such as football and volleyball; international events, such as the Mini Beach Football World Cup, are held here. This is an EEC blue flag beach with lifeguards on duty during season and an average seawater temperature in summer of 16 ºC. There are bars and restaurants, facilities for the disabled, umbrellas and small craft can be hired and parking is available.
