Quinta Magnolia was part of the British Country Club until taken over by the government in 1980. Within a large and beautiful botanical garden, there is something for the whole family and it is one of the most popular locations in Funchal. In the children’s area there are swings, slides, a swimming pool and wooden horses and a bridge. For the sporting, there are squash and tennis courts, a jogging circuit, mini-golf and the main swimming pool. In addition you will find a solarium, poolside café and terrace. Life guards are on duty and sun beds and umbrellas can be hired.
