Across the river from Porto, the Quinta do Fojo Golf Course is ideal for those who want to learn the game or practice their short hole play; the course has 12 par 3 holes. Designed by D. Duarte de Sottomayor and opened in 2002, there are 6 holes and 18 tees, giving a total length of 2,760 metres and a par of 60. Facilities include a driving range, putting green, chipping area with bunker and a pro shop. Hand trolleys and clubs can be hired, but there are no caddies. The clubhouse has a restaurant and bar.
