Located about 4.5 km southeast of Esposende and in a magnificent setting on the north bank of the River Cávado, Quinta da Barca Golf Course is part of a resort development. Designed by Jorge Santana da Silva and opened in 1997, the 9 hole, 1,997 metre par 31 course, has 18 tees and the river, lakes and undulating greens make it a good challenge. Facilities include a driving range, putting green and a pro shop; buggies, hand trolleys and clubs can be hired. The clubhouse has a bar and restaurant and the resort has a health club, tennis courts and swimming pool.
