Quatro Ribeiras is a semi-rural volcanic rocky beach situated in an area with natural pools in the Atlantic. With changing rooms, sunbathing areas, a bar, two lookout places and a parking lot, it is one of the best bathing areas on the island. It has also an artificial pool of sea water constructed specially for small children and equipped for this purpose. This locality is crossed by four rivers, which is how it derives its name. This is a great place for the whole family to spend a day.
