To the east of Praia do Martinhal is Praia dos Rebolinhos Nestling between cliffs and facing south, this is a quiet and peaceful beach largely undiscovered by tourists. Here you will find some well preserved coastal scrubland and a great abundance of pebbles (rebolinhos). The beach is often deserted and can be reached on foot through the tourist resort nearby. When using this beach is it necessary to take your own provisions as it has no basic support facilities. It is not supervised during the bathing season.
