Praia do Salto is located near to the Praia Grande de Porto Covo, just after Praia Cerca Nova. Salto Beach is smaller, but provides an ambience of privacy and peacefulness because of its many coves. Since 2002, the beach has joined the limited number of officially recognised naturist beaches in Portugal. Parking is available at Praia Cerca Nova and full facilities (restaurants, bars and showers) are easily accessible at Praia Grande de Porto Covo. This beach is not supervised and the average seawater temperature in summer is 17-18ºC.
