The Praia do Pinhão is reached by footpath along the cliff top from the popular Praia Dona Ana. The beach is small, nestling between high cliffs. There is a natural arch to the east, and, on the other side of this, a viewing point has been built with steps leading down to the sea, allowing bathers to dive into the water without having to cross over the beach. Although it is very close to the centre of Lagos, it is relatively peaceful and quiet. The beach has basic support facilities and is supervised during the bathing season. There is parking nearby.
