Located next to the fishing village of Monte Clérigo and just along the coast from the Praia da Amoreira, this Monte Clérigo beach lies around 10 kilometres from the town of Aljezur with easy access via a tarmac road. Ramps and stairways lead down to the beach from the parking area. The spacious expanse of sand is a particular family favourite. The beach has facilities for disabled, showers, restaurants and toilets. An EEC Blue Flag beach, it is perfect for surfing, body boarding and diving. The average seawater temperature in summer is 17-21 ºC.
