This is a small beach around the eastern mole of the River Arade where the water is calm. The seaward side of the mole provides bigger waves where surfers patiently wait on the horizo. Praia do Molhe is reached by walking down steep steps carved out of the cliff face. It is possible to walk to neighbouring Praia do Pintadinho at low tide where there are restaurants and other tourist facilities. There is parking near the beach. There is a restaurant on Praia do Molhe, but the beach has no supervision.
