This beach, designated as an official naturist beach, is situated at the western end of the Ilha de Tavira. Access is by footbridge over the Ria, or on one of the small tourist trains from Pedras D´el Rei to Praia do Barril and walking westwards from there. Praia do Homem Nu provides a magnificent view over Barra da Fuseta and Ilha da Armona. Visitors should cross the sand dunes using the wooden footpaths. The currents close to the bar of the estuary can be very strong. Praia do Homem Nu has no supervision. Restaurants and bars are available at neighbouring Praia do Barril.
