Evaristo Beach is very small and huddled between truncated spurs of rock. The beach is named after the famous restaurant to be found here. Access is gained via the village of Galé and, if celebrity spotting is a favourite summer pastime, this is the beach for you as it attracts many of the famous faces that regularly crop up in Portuguese high society magazines. Gigantic rocks litter the sand and under the water, inviting snorkelers to view the underwater rocks, where the marine life is abundant. This is an EEC Blue Flag beach with sunshade rental, showers, restaurant and parking.
