From the terrace on the top of the cliff above Praia do Camilo, there is a fabulous panoramic view over the coastline. A large set of stone steps leads down to the beach. The beach is divided into two by an enormous rock formation, but there is a narrow tunnel that has been dug by hand and where you can observe ancient sea shells embedded in the rock. There is a parking area near the beach, which has restaurant and toilet facilities and is supervised during the bathing season. The beach is suitable for diving.
