The river beach of Alamal, situated on the southern bank of the River Tagus and just upstream from the Belver Reservoir, is one of the region’s greatest natural attractions. In an area of great beauty, this blue flag beach satisfies every possible need. Facilities include boat hire, showers, bars and an integrated leisure centre. Parking is available and there are plenty of well sign-posted walking routes to enable tourists to take in the tree-lined surroundings. The beach is supervised in season and caters for disabled visitors.
