Praia de Vale do Lobo is surrounded by a high-quality tourist complex. Erosion of the red and ochre cliff face has resulted in some deep gullies and crevices, forming some very curious natural shapes. The dramatic colours of the cliffs form a sharp contrast with the pearl-white sand and the deep green of the stone pines, which provide shelter for the local golf courses. There is a wide range of water sports available at this attractive beach which also has restaurants, bars, parking and showers. The beach is fully supervised during the bathing season.
