Praia de Vale Centeanes is a large expanse of sand flanked by imposing cliffs. A wide wooden footpath runs across the beach, accompanying a rocky ledge where some marine fossils can be seen. Walking and snorkelling are both great activities for this beach. A set of wooden steps leads to the top of the cliff at the eastern end, offering visitors a magnificent view over the coastline. Those who list snorkelling as a favoured pastime will love discovering the abundance of marine life found in the waters. There is parking near the beach, which has a restaurant and is supervised during the bathing season.
