Formerly a small fishing village, Armação de Pêra is now a very popular Algarve tourist resort. In the old part of the city, the charm of the fishermen’s traditional squat houses has been preserved. The beach of Praia de Armação de Pêra is a great favourite as the beach has everything a sun lover could want. The average seawater temperature in summer 20-23 ºC. The beach has facilities for disabled, sunshade rental, small craft hire, restaurants and bars. Parking is available.
