Praia da Oura is close to Albufeira and is one of the Algarve’s most popular areas. The Oura Beach is ideal for relaxation or sports such as windsurfing or diving. There are various tourist amenities at the beach, but further east it is less crowded. If you walk past Pedra dos Bicos you can reach a more peaceful area. An EEC Blue Flag beach with average summer seawater temperature of 20-23 ºC, there are facilities for disabled, sunshade rental, showers. The sea is perfect for windsurfing and it is possible to hire small sea craft. At night the area bustles with bars, restaurants and discos.
