Known as the “Jewel of the Costa Vicentina”, this is an extremely beautiful beach. The dune vegetation stretches right down to the high tide line, showing the green of the foliage against the blue of the sea. At the southern end of the beach, a small clear stream cascades down the cliff in a waterfall. Visitors are asked not to step on the dune vegetation, to preserve it as much as possible. The access road has some sharp drops and deep gullies and is only recommended for off-road vehicles. The beach has no support facilities or supervision.
