Close to this beach visitors can still see the brightly-coloured fishing boats, a reminder of when a fish market, selling freshly caught fish by auction, was held here. Nowadays, it is used for bathing purposes, consisting of a huge sandy beach that stretches into the distance and out of sight. The beach is peaceful, very hot and sunny, and the sea is warm with gentle waves. To help preserve the area, visitors should cross the sand dunes using the raised wooden footpaths provided. There is parking nearby, with restaurants and toilets on the beach, which is supervised during the bathing season.
