Praia da Galé has a landscape which is unique and took about five million years to form. The cliffs are fossil laden and provide a stunning backdrop to the miles of smooth sand. Access to the beach is via ramps over the dunes which are located near the campsite. There is parking available and a pleasant bar on the beach. The average seawater temperature in summer is 17-18 ºC and the beach is supervised during the bathing season.
