The Praia da Costa do Norte is the first beach immediately to the north of the Sines Cape. From this point onwards the sand stretches for miles, all the way to the Tróia peninsula. Due to the currents and dangerous depths of the sea here, the beach is not recommended for swimming, but it is perfect for anyone seeking to be at one with nature, the elements, strong winds and imposing seas. Parking is located nearby, there are restaurants and showers and, for anyone braving the high waves, the average seawater temperature in summer is 17-18ºC.
