The Praia da Albandeira is a small stretch of sand divided by a rocky outcrop. The cliffs provide various sheltered nooks and crannies, as well as some beautiful natural swimming-pools. The landscape of this stretch of coastline, with its caves, underground galleries and raised rocky ledges is typical of the eroded limestone cliffs, providing cavities which make the perfect habitat for all kinds of different seabirds. Access is via a tarmac road from the EN 125, which is roughly six kilometres from the beach. There is parking area the beach, which has a restaurant, but is not supervised.
