The 18 hole, par 72, Pinheiros Altos golf course is located within the Quinta do Lago resort. The course is known for its challenging hazards and generous fairways, with the outward nine holes played through attractive a pine forest. The back nine holes are more demanding with many water hazards. Bordering the 18,300 hectare Natural Park of Ria Formosa, Pinheiros Altos was designed by Ronald Fream.
