The Oporto golf club was established in 1890 and is the second oldest course in continental Europe; it also boasts one of golf’s oldest competitions, the Skeffington Cup, which has taken place every year since 1891. The course, created by British residents, is 5610 metre par 71 and located by the beautiful beaches of Espinho, 17 km south of Porto. Facilities include a driving range, putting green, chipping green with bunker and a pro shop. Caddies and manual trolleys can be hired, but not buggies or electric trolleys. There is a bar and restaurant in the clubhouse.
