The marina in Olhão is situated in the Ria Formosa, a lagoon that forms a marine nature park stretching over a vast area of water connected to the Atlantic Ocean by a number of different outlets. The Avenida 5 de Outubro is a lovely promenade with a range of restaurants and bars. Sitting at one of these waterfront venues, visitors have plenty to watch. From the beauty of the natural environment, to the superb vessels coming in and out on an hourly basis, the view is ever-changing and vibrant.
