The Old Car Museum is located in Paço D’Arcos, 3 km to the east of Oeiras, follow the coastal Marginal Avenue until signposted. The museum exhibits cars, motorcycles and bicycles manufactured between the turn of the 20th century and about 1960. It pays particular attention to technical and mechanical developments, performance and comfort, and the car’s social importance. Interesting exhibits include a red Messerschmitt three wheel car and a 1930s petrol pump. The museum also has temporary exhibitions.
