The Ocean Course, inaugurated in 1968, is located almost next to the sea and offers very pleasant playing conditions. The course was designed by Sir Henry Cotton with undulating fairways running alongside pine, olive, orange and eucalyptus trees. In 1987 this 18 hole, par 72, course hosted the Portuguese Ladies Open. Only 13 kilometres from Faro international airport, the course has a good-sized 245-metre practice course to suit all levels of golfers. Facilities: Driving Range, Putting Green, Pitching Area (with bunkers), Trolleys, Buggies, Club Hire, Pro-shop, Individual and Group lessons, Restaurant, Bar, Terrace cafe, Tennis courts and Swimming pool.
