The Church of Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe is an 18th century building in the heart of Guadalupe, a parish of Santa Cruz da Graciosa. The façade, featuring intricate black masonry is in the typically baroque taste of the Azores. The interior is a delight with stunning high and side altars featuring gilded and intricately carved woodwork. There are several statues worthy of note, in particular that of Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe, the patron saint of the church and the town.
