Housed in the South tower of the Cathedral, the treasury and museum display many items of interest, the most notable of these being a 13th-century Virgin carved out of ivory which opens to reveal intricately carved scenes from her life. There is also a reliquary studded with 1,426 precious stones, including sapphires, rubies, diamonds, and emeralds and, probably of most interest to the faithful, a piece of wood said to have come from the True Cross. Climb up to the roof for a fine view of the town.
