Housed in the former market in the Largo do Corro, the Museu Etnográfico de Serpa has a permanent exhibition illustrating the various traditional crafts and professions of this region. All the major artisan crafts are represented, namely those of basket-weaver, clothes maker, chair manufacturer, potter, farm worker, blacksmith, shepherd, tailor, shoemaker and tinsmith. This museum is an incredible place in that it shows the history of the region through trade. Guided tours are available for groups.
