Opened in 1992 and designed by Duarte Sottomayor, who learned his trade under the legendary Robert Trent Jones, the course and facilities have been renovated in recent years. It is currently 5,808 metres, par 72, and situated about 14 kms northeast of Setubal, amongst famous muscatel vineyards, in slightly undulating terrain dotted with oaks, rivulets and lakes. Facilities include a driving range, putting green, pitching area pro shop, restaurant and bar. Buggy, electric and hand trolleys can be hired, but not clubs.
