The large sandy Madalena beach is in two parts, north and south and is located close to the Orbitur camping site. This is a popular beach which is easily accessed and has good surfing and body surfing conditions; it is also used for beach volley ball at national and international level. The south beach is the rockier of the two beaches. An EEC blue flag beach, it has lifeguards on duty in season and an average summer seawater temperature of 16 ºC. Parking is available and there are restaurants, bars and facilities for the disabled. Umbrellas can be hired.
