Located about 15 kms from Lisbon is the 5233 metre par 69 golf course of the Lisbon Sports Club. Established in 1880, it was only in 1964 that the club made Casal de Carregueira its permanent home. The club house is the converted original colonial-style residence. Designed by Hawktree and Sons, the club has a driving range, putting green and a pitching area with bunker. There is a pro shop, caddies are available and trolleys and clubs can be hired. Other facilities include bar, restaurant, sauna, swimming pool, children’s garden, baby sitting and tennis.
