The parish church of Vila de Frades is a majestic three-hundred-year-old structure situated in the centre of Vila de Frades. The building, completed in 1707, is considered to be one of the places that shouldn’t be missed, not only for its magnificent exterior, but also for the beauty and symbolism of its main altar. Beautifully decorated with azuelo tiles and gilt, it is a breath taking work of art. It is generally open to the public, but if it is closed you can arrange entry through the town hall, or by calling +351 284 441 762.
