The Parish Church was the first stone building in Olhão, built using donations made by fishermen in the late 17th century. Its majestic baroque façade, featuring a pediment decorated with scrolls and a shield flanked by angels, is dominated by the bell tower. The interior is vast with a barrel-vaulted ceiling. In the main chapel one finds an 18th century gilded triumphal arch and altarpiece, a painted ceiling and a 17th century statue of Nossa Senhora do Rosário. The treasury contains priestly garments, gold and silverware. To the rear is the chapel of Our Lady of the Afflicted, much revered by fishermen.
