A stone with the date of 1355 confirms the year of construction of this chapel, which was built beside a watch tower and has a panelled vault which dates from the early 16th century. The chapel was restored in the 18th century and houses an outstanding carved and gilded retable. The Antonine museum is housed in the adjoining building and contains a collection of paintings, engravings and statues related to St Anthony. There is a good view of Faro and the saltpans to the south.
