Idyllically located, situated as it is in a lush, green valley nestling between rocks and small mountain crests, visitors will find the tiny hamlet of Lajedo. Leaving Lajedo and travelling down towards the sea, you will discover Costa, with its few picturesque houses and small, but pretty, chapel. Nearby, Aguas Quentes, at sea level, is famous for the bubbling hot springs of boiling sulphurous water. These small craters are a modern day reminder of the island’s volcanic origins.
